Southwest Shore Maps

Emergency Services Maps

For mapping purposes, the Southwest Shore Colony was divided into two separate sections, as shown below. These maps indicate the Street Names and Cabin Numbers for all of the cabins in the Southwest Shore:

Take a look to find your location and access road.

Each cabin should have its cabin number prominently displayed in reflective numerals at least 3″ tall. Locate the numerals where they can be easily illuminated from the nearest road access point at night. The numerals should also be clearly visible in daylight.

Interactive Map of All USFS Cabins Nationwide

In his role on the Technology Committee of National Forest Homeowners, Ed Leonhardt (Cabin 39) has created an interactive map of all the USFS cabins nationwide. There are nearly 14,000 cabins in the U.S. Forest Service Recreation Residence Program. Cabins and their lots are typically grouped into one of the 900 cabin tracts defined by the Forest Service. These cabin tracts are located on 95 National Forests in 24 States, plus Puerto Rico. More than 190 local cabin associations have been formed by the cabin owners and are typically made up of one or more cabin tracts. Associations plus individuals comprise the 6,000 NFH members.
